From now through October 31, the Trick or Tweetstakes from Wheel of Fortune is giving out prizes to people who “tweet” the Bonus Puzzle. The contest is totally free. Below are step-by-step instructions for computer users! They are:
Signing up for a Twitter account is completely and totally free. You will need an e-mail address in order to confirm your new account. This is the Twitter sign in / account creation page. After you join, you will want to confirm your membership by reading the e-mail Twitter sends to you and clicking on the link provided there.
Next, you have to “follow” the Wheel of Fortune Twitter account. You will only have to do this once. When you click on the link below, it will list the Wheel of Fortune Twitter accounts. The first account — the one with the pumpkin — is the account that you want to “follow” for the contest. So: after you click on the link below, you will see a pumpkin picture with a button to the right that reads “Follow”. Click that “Follow” button! After you’re finished, hit the “Go Back” button (left arrow) at the top left of your browser window to return to these instructions. Click on this link now to “follow” Wheel of Fortune on Twitter!
Now you’re all set; all that remains is for you to learn how to “tweet” the Bonus Puzzle. When you go to your Twitter account page, you should see a black menu bar on at the top of the page. In that bar toward the right there is a small white box with a blue check in it. That is the “Create a Tweet” button. When you click on that button, you will be able to create the necessary “tweet”. The “tweet” you will send has the format:
